Our multi-step authentication process

At Bagsy London, authenticity is our priority and our promise. We understand that when purchasing a vintage or pre-loved designer bag, confidence matters just as much as style.

Every bag we sell goes through a careful multi-step authentication process before it is listed on our website. From supplier verification to in-house inspection and independent third-party authentication, each piece is reviewed with care so you can shop with complete confidence.

1. Supplier Verification

We source our pieces carefully from trusted suppliers and specialist resale partners. Before a bag reaches us, it has already been reviewed through our sourcing process, where we consider supplier reputation, provenance, condition, materials, construction and brand-specific details.

2. In-House Inspection

Once a bag arrives at Bagsy London, we inspect it again ourselves. We review the details that matter - including stitching, hardware, logos, date codes or serial details where applicable, materials, craftsmanship, interior finishes and overall condition.

As each item is vintage or pre-loved, we also carefully assess and record signs of age, wear or previous ownership so that each listing is described as transparently as possible.

3. Independent Authentication

Every bag is independently authenticated by LegitGrails, a specialist third-party authentication service. Each order is supplied with a LegitGrails certificate of authenticity, either physically or digitally depending on the format available.

We only sell pieces we believe to be authentic. In the rare event that an item purchased from Bagsy London is ever proven to be inauthentic, you will receive a full refund.
